After much anticipation, the first ever adult literature book from yours truly is COMPLETE!!! Currently working on re-designing book cover. Then sending off for one more review(edit) and we're off!! After reading this article on our beloved LaLa there sheds a new meaning of heritage and nationality. I actually never thought of it this way, well I did but I never had to explain in such detail. Anyone can say yes I'm Jamaican or Guyanese, whatever but in all reality if you are born here in the United States of America you are an American.

Now this is where it gets tricky, if you are born here in the U.S., but have parents from another country as Jamaica, Puerto Rico, or Panama then yes you are a proud American with that country descent. People just always have something to say about ones culture at the same time I must ask, do you know where you're from. To put an ending to this ridiculous mess, LaLa is an American with Puerto Rican Descent. She was born to Puerto Rican parents and she never said she wasn't black at least not in a negative aspect. Damn just back off, she constantly had to prove herself to people.

If I was in her shoes I would prove myself but so much. She is in the public eye, yes but damn it she made it and really only have to answer to GOD, her husband, parents and her son. So there you go.

As I sit here, I'm thinking of all of my inspirational quotes, points and people I have in my corner. Listen I tell you I have never felt so much complete in my life. After getting rid of some serious dead weight and negative energy and I feel like I've revived with vivarin. :-) In addition, I guess some are right "maybe you need to experience a great loss to obtain a great gain". Trust and believe I have experienced a great loss and he will remain in my heart forever!!

 I'm truly not new to this, very much true to this. J.K Rowling besides my children and many others are my inspiration!! But I had to point her out because like myself, she is an incredible children's book & series author, creator and she's just fabulous. Harry Potter is one of my favorites to this day. Joanne "JO-J.K" Rowlings is living proof all can happen if you set your mind to it. After a failed marriage, loss of her mother and having an dependent child failure I guess was liberating and not an option because she found herself and definitely found her way straight to success. Seriously idolize her and all of her accomplishments thus far.

 Some day I pray I can get there, because between life struggles and my prayers going up something has to give. Never was a quitter, like 50 said " Get Rich or Die Tryin"!!

“Introducing Part 2. ”

  This rant is dedicated to the people whom I just can't make a story line for. It's officially no ending to this madness and I must let it be known that it's not cool FOOL!! Like my momma said “ You can't be stupid all your life”. Within the next couple of passages you will bare witness to some crazy mess and you will know how to handle if it shall come your way.

 For instance why become envious of another? I never understood why a person would become jealous of another human being is highly absurd to me, truly baffles my brain. Whatever the situation is, you as a strong willed individual can make it happen. If you don't know I suggest you ask somebody. As the world say” you can do anything you put your mind to”. Stop blaming the world for your mistakes, regrets..whatever you want to call them, man/woman up and make shit happen. In my years of living I've come across some wild situations and very bewildered folk. At the end of the day all you can do is laugh and for sure pray because not for nothing you are the one who put your self in those sort of situations.

  My favorite slogan's of all time..OWN IT, LEAD BY EXAMPLE- PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH, DON'T THROW STONES IF YOU LIVE IN GLASS HOUSE & the ultimate highly controversial FRIEND OR FOE, DO YOU REALLY KNOW & BLOOD MAKES US RELATED,LOYALTY MAKES US FAMILY.

  These topics right here are going to be deep and very informative, at least for some. Sad to say some people just don't get it. With all being said, please don't take no offense to anything posted along these lines, I basically call it how I see it and if I seen you do it hey it is what it is. We all come across some stupid situations where we may find ourselves doing just some completely dumb shit. With that being said, I'm not by far saying you are dumb, stupid or just an idiot. I'm just saying the situations you were caught up in may have been and please don't do it again. Consider it a life long lesson; no love loss, just move on and learn from the past mistake.

 Again, welcome to this Grown Woman's Rant....don't be scared it's only an opinion. But as you can see I can be an extremely opinionated person, therefore do BEWARE!

Finding herself caught up in the middle of what some have called parental irreconcilable differences, young Lila gets a pure dose of root-ality. ***RANDOM THOUGHTS**

As I sit here at my desk, thinking of all of the things I have going on in my "so purr-fect" life I began to cry. Now that I think it is NOT "so purr-fect" after all. The one prize possession I had 19 years ago is not physically here with me, but thru the strength of my savior, lord Jesus Christ and the love and support of my two beautiful daughters this "Purr~Fect Chic" will be just fine. SWEAR I'M LIKE WINE I TELL YOU....GETS BETTER WITH TIME. :-)

Seriously, in the past few months life has thrown me so many curve balls it is not even funny. I tried to get back @ a normal swing of things....can truly kiss that goodbye. But I must say this I am maintaining. "My Prize" strength is living right thru me and I can speak and feel him everyday. Thus far he has seriously blessed me and he continues to make his mommy proud.

Here's another beautiful Author I had the pleasure of meeting at The Baltimore Urban Book Festival. Kudos Ms. Envy Red! This #MustRead here is definitely a page turner in my book. I was on edge from the very beginning. Mixed with all sorts of emotions once I've completed this read.....I just could not help but let all leak out about Envy Red and her latest "Touch".

Based in the heart of the underground swingers world of DC....Sidney, Jade & Nina walks through all their issues from tragedy within family, swinging in the swingers world and the ultimate Lust vs. Love vs. "True Love".

From the beginning I was in a slight uproar, just from reading the first two pages. Here you have young Sidney not even a teen and her little brother, experiencing what I call pure hell for children. At that same time, Sidney having to be protector for her little brother Kenny, who has grown to call himself "King". Unfortunately the two siblings lose their mother to the domestic abuse from daddy. Yes going through so much at such a young age. And double YES for so much intensity so soon!

Then we have Jade and Nina the two best friends who just adore their friend and would just about do anything for and with their bestie Sidney. Kenny, now "King" battle with "life". All going through separate experiences with this thing called "love", these ladies passion for the action is hot & heavy I must include. Envy girl have to shout you out for them love scenes...ppl I'm not going to tell it all but made me like hmmmmmmmmm!! LOL..But through it all some one is holding a deep dark secret and you would never guess.. who & what?!! This sexy, hot mysterious, shocking thriller gets all my thumbs up!! Clearly a #MustRead...

Besides Charlotte's Web, Little Miss Blackie has it going on in my book! Another children's book that have me thinking I may need to step my "Purr~Fect Game" up! LOL

I found reading Ms. Graves "web of literature" a serious message behind this story. Actually it was several!

Very close to her grandmother, Little Miss Blackie was not an ordinary eight legged pal. She was born with a special gift and she utilized it to the fullest. Like many who were born "different" as some may say, Little Miss Blackie was often ridiculed. Little did they know the exact thing they were ridiculing Little Miss Blackie for made her the talk of the town. In addition, most importantly she brightened up a person's day, including her sick grandmother! Clearly a page turner for the children! Definitely parents, teachers, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins...he)) the entire neighborhood go and purchase this beautiful "web of literature" and allow Little Miss Blackie to web her way into your heart!! Thumbs up Ms. Graves...another I salute!
