This by far is the most bizarre thing I've heard in a long time!
Jaime and Gladys Scott, sisters from Jackson Miss. were sentenced to two life sentences for a robbery which no one was hurt and only $11 cash was stolen. $11 dollars people! Granted I'm not condoning the crime, but c'mon! Life, OK maybe 2-4, but then again their first time offenders as well. Not saying give them a slap on the wrist, but an appropriate punishment.
The two sisters already served 15 years behind bars, steady pleading their innocence.With that being said, three more individuals were sort in the case and because they made a deal with the state they were given light sentences. The sisters case was of course brought to Washington D.C by the NAACP. I'm very anxious to see the outcome of this madness.
